services

I offer people a comfortable, consent-based, trauma-informed place to rest where you will not be judged based on your lifestyle choices, or what you do or do not do. During our initial visit, we will review your primary concerns and establish goals. We will work together to create a practical and attainable plan.

What to expect:

The acupuncture needles are ultra-thin, sterile, and disposable. The sensation of the points varies with nothing more uncomfortable than a mosquito bite. I do not intentionally stimulate or manipulate the needles or points without discussing it beforehand and never without consent.

Once the needles are in, the range of sensations vary. Some begin to feel light and floaty, some feel their limbs get heavy, some see lights and colors, and some don’t feel much of an immediate response. Many people sleep during their treatment, or drift off into a light nap.

After the treatment, the range of sensations also vary. Most people will immediately feel more relaxed. Sometimes you might feel a bit zoned out for the rest of the day, or you might also experience a boost of energy. Either way, if possible, please take your time getting through the rest of your day.

Sessions may include the following modalities based on your individual needs: Acupuncture, acupressure, gua sha, moxibustion, cupping, manual myofascial release.
